Shizuka blushed even harder as he actually tried to explain how he'd felt about it, which didn't seem too bad, it just wasn't something she thought she could even remotely be comfortable with. She was so nervous, mainly because it was something that had gotten so out of hand, and she just... she couldn't understand why he had asked her in there. Why not just an email or something, if he didn't want to punish her for it?
When his hand slipped away, that jostled Shizuka out of her reverie enough to make her walk around the desk so she was actually standing right beside him after he stood. "No, wait, I... I have to know." Shizuka was right in front of him, having moved so there was nothing in their way anymore, even though she wasn't thinking of it like that. "Why did you even bring me in here, then? I... you could've just... I mean..." Shizuka was blushing now, because the knowledge had suddenly occurred to her that maybe there was a different reason for him to ask her into the office. Oh, dear. Now she was suddenly worrying that maybe she was too close... because, she knew she had a crush on him but there was no way a professor, even one her age, would find anything of interest with her. Oh, no.
