It felt so good to hold him. Though it wasn't romantic in the slightest Will was getting a great deal of emotional and physical comfort. For the first time in a long while his mind was calm and he wasn't spritzing out scenarios and worries nor was he as on edge as he had been. It was a great release. There were no deep or rousing emotions, just... calm.
Though he had almost forgotten the last bit of history they'd created together and as Syn chose to remind him, Will raised his head to look at his dear friend. The memory of Syn's little face, impulsive and desirous, coming in to kiss him... Will had been terrible, shoving him away and being his callous self once again. He had not thought of it til now to even have a regret but it was soon done. "Of course I've forgiven you," he whispered in response, hoping that settled Syn's concerns. If he hadn't forgiven Syn he would certainly not be requesting his company. Just to show that he was in fact in the clear he pressed a tiny kiss to the side of Syn's cheek, softly peeling away his lips. If he had accepted Syn's kiss all that time ago things may have been very different now. "I am a different man, now. I kiss. I have sex. I show feeling. Against my better judgement I've opened myself up to..... this world. And I do like it a lot better..."
A smile finally spread across his face. "If you'd tried to kiss me after this new me, I wouldn't have said no."
