Who: Finn, Rorie, and introducing Keely! What: Meetings and whatnots Where: Ireland When: Evening
Things were good. Finn had a threesome with two, very gorgeous red headed models. Well they posed fro some clothing adds in the local paper. Rorie came out to his family and didn’t get spit on. It was Thursday and their cousin Billy, whom they were staying with, had to work that night. So they were on their own for the final night in Ireland That didn’t really bother them. They wanted to do a bit of exploring before they left anyways. So off to wander they made their way around the pubs, tasting and sampling most of the lagers around before ducking into the park to wander and talk and dance. Albeit a bit tipsy and buzzed.
They weren’t too far gone though, when they saw a couple of rather bult men, probably college rugby players, taunting this tiny redheaded woman. That didn’t seem right. So it was their duty to step in and defend the lass. “Oi! Ye lot!” Finn called out as he and Rorie stepped closer. Rorie was ready for a fight. Several things close by to use to hit and fling if need be were taken into account. “I don’t think the lass wants ye crowdin’ her like that.”
“Were we talkin’ ta ye, ye fuckin’ buggas?” One scowled as the other sized Rorie up. In a fair fight, the brothers would be wiped out. Fortunetly for the, they had an advantage.
“No, but bein’ the chivalrous two we are, figured we’d stop and beat her bletherin’ heads in,” Rorie piped up.
“Oh really now, what makes ye think ye can do that?” The large one that had been eyeing the skinny, blond man said as he gripped Rorie’s shirt, pulling him to his tippy toes.
“This,” Rorie said calmly with a smile before using his powers to grab a trash can and know the man holding him to the side and out of the fight.
“What the-” The other was quickly knocked out as well when the trash can came back on him. Straightening his shirt, Finn just giggled.
“Using yer brute strength, arent’ ye?”
“Shut up!”
“Oh powerful Rorie! Don’t piss’m off or he’ll get ye with a trash can!”
“I said shut it!”
“Beware the trash can wrath!”
“Ye will if ye know what’s good for ye!”
“Ooo! I’m shaking in me boo-ACK!” Finn cried as the woman they had ‘rescued’ had now turned on them with an old branch that had lots of dry, sharp parts on it.
“Ye fools! I didna need ye help!” She cried wailing on the two brothers as they coward and tried to get back only to be followed.
“I’m sorry!” Rorie squealed as he hid behind Finn. “Hit him! He’s the one that started it!”
“No! He’s the one that saved ye!” The brothers were too busy pushing each other in front, they didn’t see the woman stop.
“Back there, ye hit’m with the trash can. Ye didna put any hands on it either,” she said as they both paused and looked at each other not realizing they’d just exposed themselves and now had to cover it up. Murder was not on the list of things to do in Ireland.
“Uh. . .” Rorie said.
“Yer special!” She beamed as the brothers continued to look from each other to the woman. “Yer all. . . Special and can do fun things!”
“Uhhh. . .” How do you respond to something like this? It seemed like it wasn’t possible to dictate this woman’s next move.
“I’m special too! I’m Keely, I’m a dryad,” she beamed holding out her hand to them before they slowly shook her hand.
“Hey, yer a dryad? Rorie, Declan’s from here, maybe they know each other,” Finn said turning to his brother.
“Declan!? He’s my fiancé!” She gasped. “Ye know him!?”
“Uh. . .” Rorie wasn’t able to process much of the whole situation after all, it wasn’t everyday that they ran across a dryad that knew another one that they knew. . . Maybe?
“Yer engaged ta Declan?” Finn said laughing. “Jerk never said a word.”
“He’s just workin’ hard so we can have a nice place when we get married,” Keely hummed happily.
“So, he’s workin’ in Boston while yer still here? Ye both movin’ ta the states then?” Rorie asked finally able to comprehend it.
“Yes!” Now whether she was telling the truth or not was a different story. There could be any number of dryad’s named Declan. . . Maybe. . . There weren’t many male dryads to begin with, so maybe it was true.
“He works at a school we go ta. We’re here just till tomorrow though otherwise-”
“I’ll come with ye! I can surprise him and it’ll be great!” Keely grinned.
“Well ye see-” Finn tried again.
“I’ll get right on it! Come on, ye can come ta me flat and tell me what flight yer on!” She grinned grabbing Rorie’s hand and dragging him along.
“Finn!” Rorie squeaked as he was suddenly taken away with this woman. Finn just stared before following. There wasn’t much to fight, the woman might turn on them again and he knew Rorie wouldn’t fight her or hurt her and neither would he.
Well, Rorie had said he wanted to bring Garret home something. . .
