Re: Ava/Charlie - About 9:45
Charlie had picked out his costume before everything fell apart with Ava, and he'd planned on being a very mean man and making her dress up as the exhaustingly stupid Bella Swan. No such luck now. His wife didn't even know about his costume, and he didn't have a clue what she'd be wearing either since she got ready with the bitch-who-shall-not-be-named.
He didn't see her approaching, but he recognized the sound of her gate and her scent, things he should have noticed were not quite perfect when Ana posed as her twin. It still pissed him off. Yeah, something had felt off with Ana, but the truth didn't register, and it should have.
"Not a one. What a relief too. Kids here are smarter than I give them credit for. They apparently know better than to fall for a sullen pretty boy who wants to maim them." He looked her over. "Am I going to find a bunch of new statues in the garden later?"
