Kim had a feeling he wasn't just talking about Starbuck judging him anymore. The way he expressed his thoughts, even if it was brief, said a lot, but she knew not to push. It wasn't her place for that. Almost predictably, he changed the subject and Kim chuckled. "Your baby. Right." Whatever made him feel better. "Anyway, thanks again. I really appreciate your help. Let me know when I should come in for my next check up and I'll be here." Walking towards the door, she called back. "See ya, Wes." Then she was off, back to her apartment to tell Starbuck how the first visit went.
