Sorrow definitely didn't suit her. Vinnie liked her smile. It was infectious and made him feel better just to be around it. Chuckling softly, he tossed the soccer ball back and forth between his hands. "If we find you a good enough recipe, I'm sure you can make great ones. You can probably ask Nate to borrow the one he used. His cannolis actually came out pretty good."
Vinnie nodded slightly as he let the soccer ball drop to the ground once more. "Another day. No problem," Upon hearing that his shoulder was bony, he chuckled again. "Bony? Nah, that was pure muscle," he said, trying to keep a straight face. He failed miserably and burst out laughing.
"You better be ready for next time. Or there'll be more of this," he said as his arms went for her waist, lifting her up and slinging her over his shoulder again. With that he started walking off toward the school, holding on to her securely as he dribbled the ball along again.
