Zevira? Heavy? Yeah, those two words together made absolutely no sense. Vinnie had been forced to pick up much heavier things in the past and never really understood it when girls said they were heavy when they weren't. And there was no way he was gonna drop her either. At least not on purpose. He was being pretty careful as he held her over his shoulder, making sure she didn't slip from his grip.
"You're up there because a) you are not supposed to pick up soccer balls and run with them and b) you're making me wait for my surprise," he chuckled as he continued to walk on, still dribbling the ball as he went. He noticed the gems on her back, but not because there was any light reflecting off of them into his eyes. There was some light coming off of them, but he didn't mind it. They were pretty mesmerizing. She wasn't kidding when she said they were everywhere.
Feeling his shirt ride up a little in the back, he laughed at her comment. "And why would I do that? I'm gonna need a pretty good reason to put ya down. So if you really wanna get down that bad, start talking." He was having way too much fun with this so who knew how long it would actually take him to put her down.
