"Well, you did almost fall twice before you actually took a spill," Vinnie teased back as he smirked. "But honestly, I don't think you're not that bad. You just have some balance issues you gotta work out," he said with a chuckle. Vinnie didn't do the whole serious thing either. Sure, he'd get annoyed at things, but really, he'd get over it just as quickly. Life was all about enjoying it and having fun.
"Why? You gotta keep going if you're ever gonna get any better. How do you think I got to where I'm at? Lots and lots of practice. Hell, even after team practice was over, I'd stay at the field and practice on my own." When it came to his sports, Vinnie was super dedicated and always gave them 150%. Practice certainly made him better, but his papa always liked to brag that genetics had something to do with it, too. Of course, that wasn't the case with rugby, though, so practice definitely won out in that one.
Upon seeing that smile, Vinnie smirked, wondering what she was thinking about. Nudging the ball back towards him, he tried to read her face. "A surprise?" he asked, a bit confused and then suddenly he remembered. "Oh yeah.. I almost forgot about that. So what is it? Cannoli, maybe?" he guessed, wiggling his eyebrows at her before laughing at himself.
