Vinnie really liked spending time with Zevira, too. It was just that lately he had begun wondering whether it was just because he liked her as a friend or liked her as more. He couldn't even begin to count the times that Frankie had asked him if he liked Zevira and if he did, he should kiss her. And Starbuck had told him practically the same thing. But still, he had his hesitations which mostly centered around the fact that Zevira was so inexperienced at life and she might freak out. He really wished things weren't this complicated because it was starting to give him a headache.
When Vinnie played soccer, everything else that didn't involve the game disappeared. So when Zevira showed up behind him, he didn't notice until he heard her call out. Giving the ball one last bounce on his left knee, he let it fall to the ground. Once he turned around, he paused for a second as he took in Zevira's appearance. "Oh wow.. I've never seen you with your hair straight before. It looks really nice."
Shuffling his feet around with the ball, he chuckled a little at her teasing. "Don't worry, I'll have you get there eventually. It's like with anything else, you just gotta start slow." Stopping the ball once again, he motioned Zevira over. "Come on over so we can get started."
