Ana tried not to droop into his arms, but she was hopeless. There was no use fighting it, so she gave in and let him hold her, though she did put up a bit of a fight when he pulled her hands away from her face. A few tears had streamed down her cheeks and a few more were welling up in her eyes as she looked at him. Seeing as she didn't count the crying fits while Cherry's emotions were affecting her, she hadn't genuinely cried in a long time and she didn't want to do it in front of him either. Ana hastily wiped her face, looking away from him as another tear rolled down her cheek. "I'm not crying," she responded stubbornly. Somehow, relief flooded her system at the kiss on her forehead and she leaned into him a bit more. "You don't have to say that." She didn't know what he was sorry for exactly, but maybe getting into that would only cause more yelling and she was emotionally drained.
