Ana kept staring at him silently, not moving at all even when Adam walked back to his armchair. She listened intently to every word he said and every beat his heart took even as he sat back down in his chair. Taking a deep breath she obviously didn't need to, she finally began to speak, though her voice wasn't raised anymore. There was an almost unnerving steadiness to her voice as her expression softened. "I can't just sit here and watch TV with you after all this. That's not me. You should know that, Adam." Ana Van der Witt refused to just sit quietly like a little housewife and be content with just doing something mundane like watching TV with him.
