Once Adam raised his voice, Ana did the same. "Yes, you do! You need to take fucking control and do something about it because, if you haven't noticed yet, I am always going to be pushing back, pushing the limits of what I can and can't do!" She didn't flinch at all when he dropped the glass or even when he crossed the room to stand in front of her so quickly. "Of course it's all about me! It's been all about me since I watched my parents die!" Ana's mouth snapped shut at that moment, regretting that she had let that bit of information slip at this moment.
A dozen conflicting emotions were pouring over her at the moment and, coupled with Adam's words, it was starting to become too much for her. "I fucking KNOW it annoys you and you want me to stay! I'm talking about actually hearing you say it!" She was mid-sentence, trying to yell over him when he basically gave her an ultimatum. Ana froze, her mouth hanging slightly open as she stared at him in silence. Well, she had told him to make her want to stay, right? So, in a sense, this was basically what she asked for, though it wasn't what she expected. Once again, Adam had rendered her speechless. All she could do was stand by the door, holding it open while she glared at him.
