Peyton's current mental state couldn't really process an emotion resembling excitement, though that's how she felt for lack of a better explanation. Making contact with Blake had NOT been easy, and that was difficult for a girl of Peyton's exceptional intelligence and power to accept. She was used to being good at just about everything on the first try. This had taken a lot more work than past projects.
Having finally caught Blake's attention, Peyton seemed to move without crossing distance. She'd think of where she wanted to be, and her conscious was there. That's how she came to be seated directly in front of Blake. "I need to know where you are. And when I get there, you're going to help me travel to where I really want to be." It probably didn't make much sense, and Peyton realized that after speaking. Her words came out odd while astrally projecting. "Let me show you. It'll make more sense if I do."
Peyton reached out and took Blake's hands, holding them firmly in her own. She focused again, much more intently this time, because projecting her own mind into another universe was hard enough, but taking someone else with her could prove impossible. As it was, she only managed to show Blake a few flashes of her 'home' planet. "There. That's where I need to be."
