Who: Finn and Lloyd What: Session numero uno Where: Lloyd's office When: Afternoon
Finn wanted to be anywhere but where he was. Standing outside the therapist’s office, he grumbled under his breath talking himself into going in there. It had taken most of the day to actually drag himself there. As much as he loved Rorie and wanted to get better, actually getting up and going to this guy was more trouble than he had originally thought. Call it self preservation or what, but he just didn’t want to go. So that had been the battle that morning, getting out of bed and dressed. He actually ate in the cafeteria instead of out of the vending machine. Then afternoon rolled around and he found himself holing up in his room rather than going out like he had been. It took all his will power to pull himself off the bed and out the door.
Shuffling along, he knew he was going to be late, he was never on time for anything, the therapist being no exception at all. He and Rorie were nearly opposite personalities. Finn was very dominant, outgoing, messy, lazy, emotional like a woman on her period, and some how managed to be a very friendly person and have lots of friends. . . HAD lots of friends. Rorie. . . He was quiet, introverted, rarely talked to someone even if he knew them, was very clean almost to OCD standards, he even had his scribbles and notes color coordinated.
Despite their differences, the brothers had been best friends for their entire lives until recently. Now Finn was staring at the therapist’s door and grumbling under his breath before knocking and walking in. “Hi, I’m here for an appointment with Lloyd Harris. My name’s Finn O’Bannon.”
