This whole nice thing wasn't the way she usually operated, but maybe it wasn't so bad. Ugh, what was she saying? It was weird as hell, but apparently Adam liked it. Ana could feel him start to relax a bit under her touch and the car finally started to roll forward slowly.
When his face lit up, Ana couldn't help but smile, even when she could see he was now concentrating so hard. Her eyes glanced up at the empty parking lot, watching the direction he was going in for a second before looking over at the speedometer. "Ok, in a few seconds you're going to shift up to second. See the gauge next to the speedometer? When it hits three, take your foot off the gas, press down on the clutch and shift up. Then start pressing down on the gas again while balancing the clutch." While she was explaining everything, she kept her hand on his, waiting for him to soak up everything she said. She knew he could handle it.
