Who: Addie and Jacob What: Escapism Where: Garage, then traveling When: Evening
Addie knew her Magic Man was having a rough time. She'd seen the posts about Dizzy's death, and she'd seen the quote he'd posted. Sometimes she wished she was a painter, and that words could be painted. Not the words, but the thoughts. Yeah, yeah, art was bringing the words to life and blah blah blah. The cryokinetic knew all the theoretical bullshit, and hey, she was an artist. She brought thoughts to life. But it was different. The words he'd found were beautiful, and she wished she could have made them real. Ah well. Guess the mundane world, reality as it were, and all it's dumbass restrictions would continue to apply.
Of course, that didn't prevent Addie from giving her friend a nice dose of escapism, or a chance at it. There were plenty of alternate realities to be created in this world, and she had every intention of creating one for him if he wanted it. Knowing that Jacob might not be so cool with illicit substances right now, she'd made sure to keep it limited to pot. See, she did have a sensitive side. Besides, he was in no headspace to be going on a trip right now. You brought your baggage with you, and he didn't need that kind of trip right now, decidedly not. Nor did she need him to get stupid and start permanently living in any chemically created alternate realities. He was better than that.
The blond was leaning against her car, awaiting her metaphorically battered and bruised friend. "Hey Magic Man. Any destination requests?" she asked when appeared.
