Who: Nox and Fisher What: Unheard Confessions Where: Nox's Office When: Same time as their usual appointments Rating: R for language
Too much was filling Fisher's brain. He didn't think he could take it. Too many secrets, to much riding on him, too much trust and no one he could confide in. He wanted to be the kind of person that everyone seemed to think he was capable of being, but he didn't know if he could. Being a secret keeper was impossible. He had done so for a long time, but they had been secrets for people he was either madly in love with or people he didn't give a shit about. It was hard to stay silent when a friend could benefit from you speaking. Still, he hated when other people acted "for his benefit", so he would never betray trust.
But something had to give.
So with heavy footfalls he marched to the one place where he knew he could confide in someone and it would never leave those doors, would never be uttered to another person. Simon followed close behind, begging Fisher not to do this, reminding him that he had promised and he'd be a terrible friend if he broke the only promise Simon had ever asked of him. "Trust me," Fisher snapped, just before his hand grabbed the doorknob and twisted it, as he stepped into Nox's office. It was the same time their scheduled appointments had been, so he'd assumed the demon didn't have anything else going on.
Without preamble, Fisher jumped right into the heart of the matter, pacing in front of the man's desk. "I need to tell somebody," he said, voice desperate. "I need to tell someone, but I can't tell anyone because I promised but I feel like my head is going to explode!" Tugging at his hair, he finally turned to Nox. "I have to tell you something. Lots of things. But you can't actually hear what I'm telling you, so... I need you to cover your ears and close your eyes and not hear a single word I'm about to say."
