WHO Astrid and Mikaela. WHAT The impossible happens! A Jedi master and a trekkie join forces. WHEN Wednesday, after classes. WHERE Their room - A1.
It was safe to say that Mikaela probably hadn't started off on the right foot. What with skipping her first day of classes entirely, but she just couldn't help it okay? She was still learning how to adjust to this new life and while she enjoyed a good challenge now and again, this one was just a little more difficult than she had expected. Having to deal with a full moon right after she arrived at the school most likely didn't help her cause, but who's bright idea was it to have classes going on the following day anyway? Seeing as how these teachers were technically supposed to know the subjects in which they were teaching, why did they fail to notice that maybe some people took a bit longer to recuperate after a full moon? Was it so much to ask for at least one day of recovery time?
Despite her complaints (that she kept to herself of course), Mikaela could honestly say that her initial impression of the school had been pretty far off the mark. Sure she had her first little mishap playing hooky with Aiden on Monday, but overall, things didn't seem to be so bad. She got to personally pick out her own schedule and while she was a little intimidated with the amount of students attending the school (high school life hadn't been too kind on young Mikaela), she seemed to be getting along with the few that she had the chance to meet and interact with.
Aiden was busy flaunting off his No Roommate status and while Mikaela was initially a bit reluctant about having to share such close quarters with someone she barely knew, she quickly learned that having a roommate wasn't as bad as she thought. The fact that the two got along right off the bat probably helped. Even if Astrid was a trekkie.
The week seemed to be dragging for the poor Faust girl and while the work load didn't bother her in the slightest, she was still feeling the effects from Sunday night. The aches, the pains and the general, heavy feeling of exhaustion. It was as if her entire body had been drained of energy over night. To put it simply, Mikaela was beat and instead of hanging around after class, getting to know her peers better, she immediately headed straight for her room. Sleep was winning the battle over being social and she had a feeling that this routine was probably going to last till at least the end of the week. If not more.
After tossing her backpack into her corner of her room and huffing a heavy sigh past her lips, Mikaela allowed gravity to take full control as she fell face first into her bed, legs dangling off the end as she laid there. "I missed you," she mumbled into the comforter then, her body loosening up as she enjoyed the brief moment of relief. Finally, she was able to get off of her feet.
