Cassie would argue that she had saved his ass a few times too, but he was right, he spent more time keeping her out of trouble than she did with him. They had it all upside-down but it worked for them, so who cared? He was her hero and that made her happy.
Her staring at the car was broken by the feel of the keys in her hand and his words. When she turned around she had tears in her eyes and she threw her arms around his neck, going on tiptoes. "Thank you." She said through happy tears before kissing his cheek and pulling back with a big smile now. "I should have known you and my mum were up to something." She laughed, turning back to the car which she walked over to and ran her hand over. "It's beautiful. Gorgeous." The demon seemed at a loss for words, which was incredibly rare.
Suddenly she ran around to the drivers side though, unlocking it just for the sake of sitting in it, in her new car, which was when she noticed the keychain. Looking up from the door she grinned to him. "Ah! Where did you get the keyring? It's perfect!" She enthused, totally distracted.
