It took a bit more nudging, but Peyton finally opened her eyes and blinked a few times. She glanced around the room. Disoriented and dizzy. At first, Peyton didn't know where she was. She didn't immediately recognize Loghan. It didn't help matters that he'd been gone for months. Most staff members didn't return after such prolonged absences. Then there was the fact that dude was notoriously quiet and mostly kept to himself. But here he was... poking her and asking if she was okay.
Peyton nodded after a moment and slowly sat up. She wobbled a little on her ass as she looked around the room some more. Her surroundings felt foreign for a second, and she wasn't sure why the office was trashed, but then it all came flooding back into her brain as she recovered from her destructive rage.
She frowned, and then Peyton's face hardened, trying to mask what she was really feeling... betrayal. "Fucking call security and report me. I don't care," she grumbled.
