Wednesday 3/12/08 Who: Jacob and Summer Where: Jacob and Lyle's room When: early evening What: talking Status: incomplete
After what seemed like hours of shuffling in the dark back from the infirmary, Jacob felt the door in front of him that was his room. He breathed a sigh of relief and reached into his pocket for his key. Unlocking the room was going to be a problem unless he gave the key to Summer and he wasn't sure his pride could handle that. A couple of moments passed before he gave it to her, waiting until the door was open to start to trudge into the room.
The Healer at the infirmary couldn't do anything like he expected, not to his surprise, and so he was stuck until his vision got better. Jacob took a large step to the side to find his bed, bending down to feel where it was to flop on it. Being blind was so embarrassing and honestly he didn't want anyone else to see him like this. He closed his eyes (pointless because he couldn't see).
"Ugh," he groaned, pressing his face into his pillow. Horrible. Surely Summer would relate to his not wanting to ever leave his room.
