"Whatever," she replied, with a shrug. It was rare for Rae to assert herself; she generally let other people make decisions and just went along with whatever they wanted. "Whatever you want to do," she said, and offered a smile to show Cassie it wasn't that she was being flippant, just.. indecisive. She didn't want to decide what Cassie did with her evening. What if Cassie didn't like whatever they did, and Rae had chosen the activity? Then it would be Rae's fault Cassie had a bad time.
