Mandy/Ophelia
Mandy was nervous, but not for any of the reasons Ophelia was. After all, she liked the medium, and it was pretty obvious that Ophelia was pretty into her as well. And since neither of them went to dances, both of them were going to look silly out there on the floor. On the plus side Simon would be there, and he was kinda goofy too, so they'd be a trio of dorks. Or maybe a quartet, depending on how Simon's date was. Mandy didn't know Arc very well.
No, Mandy was nervous because she'd spilled the beans to Wesley about being his daughter, and he might be coming tonight to see her. Not that she wanted to ditch Ophelia- actually, she was so unexpectedly on edge about this that she wanted her friend close by in case she got too scared or threw up or something.
Spotting Ophelia in the rec center, Mandy smiled brightly. She was nervous, yeah, but Ophelia looked really pretty. Mandy had done her best to look like a girl- though the halter on her dress made her feel very exposed. But she looked damn good in her fedora, so that was something. "Hi," she said as she approached. "Let's save the dancing for later. Punch is good, maybe food..." She looked over the other girl's shoulder. "Maybe you can introduce me to the Ophelia look-alike over there."
