Mandy/Ophelia
Ophelia tried not to be nervous, which proved to be more difficult than she thought. At least she had the support of Arcelia, who had loaned her the dress she was wearing and did her makeup. All things considered, it was good to have someone on her side who could make her look good for date type occasions. She did feel nice in her dress, but telling her biological cousin Iris that her date was female was difficult. Thankfully, she seemed to be fine with it and would join her to see the dance. Ophelia hoped Iris visiting her during her break to study for exams was okay and wouldn't hurt her college education, but her cousin said she did revise in the evenings. All was well.
Mandy looked pretty and a smile came easily to Ophelia's face as their gazes met. "Want to get a drink before we start things?" she asked. They could drink, eat or dance, while of course making conversation... even if she had no idea what to talk about with her just yet. "Or we could break in the dance floor." She giggled. "My dancing is going to be so weird, but at least I'll look okay while doing it."
