Duncan and OPEN
Duncan was a chaperone. He did not have a date; he was getting paid for being here. After a quick patrol of the "private areas," the tall lanky half-demon had made his way back into the main dance hall. He was wearing a rather dapper black pinstripe dress shirt with a crimson silk tie. His pants and shoes were also black. He had a modern-day Cupid look to him, with his curly soft hair and broad shoulders.
He was holding a cup of punch and standing in a group of other professors, talking and laughing. If he saw any of his students, he made sure to call out to them. He wasn't really a V-Day hater; he was mostly ambivalent. He enjoyed watching the young people have fun, and watching the couples was endearing to him, despite being a lonely soul himself.
During a lull in his conversation -- which had evolved without him -- he watched the crowd, half-smiling, and silently mouthed the words of the song that was playing.
