Solitary sucked. Will had been sitting on his bed staring at the wall for the last 5 minutes, listening to the same music that had been playing during his last bust up with Fisher hoping to get some inspiration. After a talk (amongst other things) with Lyle, and actually after the last two or so days spent without being in Fisher's company, the angel had had time to reflect on a lot of things. Some home truths, sorting out his head, generally trying to re-assess stuff whilst at the same time storing it away. But it wasn't going away without help. He'd have to speak to Fisher.
The bathroom hadn't been abused like usual today. Though liner, gloss sticks and various other things still littered the sink Will was washing his face free of any make up that still lingered on his face. He couldn't be dressed up for this. He had to be himself, no mask, nothing to cling to. Bare and vulnerable, so to speak, because Fisher deserved the real him for this.
A deep breath was all it took for him to steel himself. The music was promptly turned off and he strolled out of his room, stomach tightening in knots as he approached Fisher's room. He'd never done this before, mended a broken friendship. It felt humbling... ugh. For a second he considered knocking, even paused outside the door, but in the end he simply strolled through, walked over to the bed where Fisher was sitting and promptly settled next to him like the past few days hadn't even happened. Well - not quite. He didn't say anything, barely even looked at Fisher, just... sat. A part of him wanted to keep up the charade of the unshaken angel Fisher had first met, the uncaring, passive guy, insults rolling off his back. But that wasn't what he was here for. Without much warning, the angel leant sideways and laid down, resting his head against Fisher's lap and let out a soft sigh. It was almost like coming home.
