"You and me both." Aden said with a smile, blowing the smoke from his cigarette skyward, as to not disturb his new companion. "Dr. Aden Grey." He said, a hand outstretched. "Neither lost nor confused. Although I must be a bit demented if I'm still here." This new stranger seemed all there, in control of herself and lucid, although she was filled with... anger and frustration. None of them strong enough to control her, but certainly a large dose of both.
He offered her a cigarette, taking the final drag of his and picking up a new one. He had subconsciously been projecting feelings of peace and a sense of calm, letting those wash over him now, hoping this stranger did the same. Aden's eyes had change from a subtle shade of gold to a deep, rich blue upon that final drag. A new color to match his now calm sense of self.
