Jonah had had one hell of a two days back at the school. After a tumultuous holiday that he hadn't really had chance to relax in, his first week back so far had consisted of a full morning of maths on the Monday followed by lots of grading papers and checking on sponsors, then a day of more papers topped off with an hour of running around coaching the baseball class. It was still cold weather and his joints were not in his favour. Wesley'd manged to get over the shock of being a teacher long enough to med him up for the day, give him a rush of rhumatism-free relief which he'd revelled in that afternoon. But now he was walking back to his apartment, going to cook a simple meal and veg out.
The smell of something gorgeous met his nose halfway up the stairs. He'd had a feeling he'd see Celia later on today and apparently that was now, seeing as he knew someone was in his apartment. The smell was shrimp... something else too. Wearing his big brown duffle coat, sports trousers and black sweater he didn't look or feel the part for a reconciliation dinner. But when he walked in and saw Celia with the table set just so, standing nervously for his arrival he just smiled.
"Well this is unexpected. And I am... completely unprepared..."
