God, she did love the song, and she did love him, and she only wished that he could feel what she knew he had to feel right now all the time. If he could, then they'd be fine. They'd be fine always. She sometimes wished they could both just disappear from the face of the Earth, find a little place together somewhere in the middle of nowhere where they both could live alone together without any of their respective demons haunting them. Unfortunately, that was nothing more than a beautiful dream.
It wasn't until she heard someone yell something about grabbing her ass that she realized just how inappropriate they were both being, and when Charlie pulled away, her face was completely flushed, a hand moving up to smack him in the arm when he said what he did only to then move to cover her face with her hand, laughing. Her other hand was seized by his own and, after a stop by the DJ booth, he was leading her off stage where she could have just died from embarrassment.
"You are..." Davia started to say once they were finally out of the limelight. She shook her head and then slipped her arms around his waist. "Too much, Charlie Burghard." How many times had she said those same exact words to him? Far too many times, but that didn't make them any less true. She leaned in to kiss him again, softly. "I love you too." She whispered against his lips now that they were alone, not that she would have minded if everyone here heard it and knew it, which they probably could tell from the way that she kissed him, just the moment was meant to be more intimate than that.
