Davia was a patient woman. But there were times, especially with Charlie, when the self pity just became enough and she had to put her foot down and end it, at least for a little while. Now was one of those times.
"Charlie." She said his name rather firmly as she moved to reach her hands for his face to turn his gaze towards her, not allowing him to pull away quite so easily. "I don't ever want you to say that again. Or even think it. Because none of us, none of us," She had to reiterate that point. "Would be better off without you." She shook her head softly. "And you'd never hurt any of us. So stop thinking about it. Stop worrying about it. Everyone knows you're stronger than that."
