Despite being disbelieved over his name and state of being, Castiel took little offense. Human belief itself was compromised as it was, especially if Dean was to be considered an average individual in the scheme of things, and while there was absolutely nothing that suggested this Doctor was human at all, it was of very little concern to Castiel. He appeared behind the man promptly and waited for the phone message to be read. Texting was not something he enjoyed or had learned very well. Its legibility was likely questionable, but it was not a consideration within his mind.
"You are the Doctor?" he asked. "That was the name provided on the message. If you have a moniker you prefer, I will use it."
Castiel tilted his head to the side, examining the other man carefully. He appeared human enough on the outside and while his form was not a vessel like Castiel's own, he was...decidedly not human. He did not wish to say in case it made this Doctor uncomfortable, but the sound of two hearts beating was highly audible and the fact that he had traveled through time extensively was visible. It was somewhat discomforting, if only because he had only known other angels to be capable of such a thing. Extra-terrestrial life existed in his rightful reality of course, but it was along the lines of microbes. Amoeba. Various creatures most humans took little interest in - Castiel couldn't blame them. They were definitely not refined conversationalists.
"I am Castiel."
There had been little indication of his current visage and it was possible he would not be recognized. He looked to avoid confrontation as much as possible, in case the Doctor was somewhat volatile. He supposed very little was impossible.
