Who: Dean Winchester and Castiel When: Day One (backdated) Where: Outpost lobby What: Exchanging information Warnings: None Status: Closed, ongoing
Castiel waited until Dean was through with his phone message, although by the time he'd arrived, he was already standing beside Dean and he transported his charge to the Outpost with little to no warning. He could already sense that Dean was not of his timeline - if he was correct, it would be long before any sort of bond was formed between the two of them, so he remained silent, waiting for the reprimand. It was of little concern to him either way, since any of Dean's protests were neither here nor there. The only safe place thus far was the Outpost and until a method of returning everyone to their rightful place in time was found, Dean would have to...'bear with him,' if that was the correct phrase to use.
Once Dean was inside the Outpost, he transported himself towards the nearest vendor and returned a second later with a sandwich in hand. He didn't think to consider what its contents would be, of course. There were far more important things to be concerned with, but he suspected feeding Dean would at least make him more complacent. He was in no mood for an argument. "You said you required sustenance," he replied. "In my investigations, I've found nothing that is not for human consumption, but I made certain that is safe."
He suspected a comment about tasting it himself was coming, but if Dean was too shortsighted to check it for its present entirety, then that was him concern. "When you are ready, we should probably discuss what the last thing you remember doing before arriving here."
