The attempt at having a normal date at the Quidditch match had gone horribly wrong. What had started off as a promising day ended in Cassius having to drop Lisa off somewhere and hope she got home all right. Then to make matters worse he was forced to go to the hospital to see his favorite healer who frankly seemed to hate him more than he hated Quidditch. Normally that sort of trip was brilliant but it left Cassius feeling a little off. She’d been nice to him at the end of things that he didn’t know what to think about it. Worse it was distracting him. He was thinking about what happened and what it meant when he should have been worried about Lisa, not Lucia. Shaking off his encounter with her at the hospital as best he could, Cassius decided that he needed to do something with Lisa to make everything up to her. Sure he probably didn’t have to make anything up to her, it wasn’t like he’d planned things to end up literally in pieces blowing apart everywhere. Still, that didn’t change that it was, in fact, a disaster and he didn’t want that to be how they walked away from their date. It was a horrible memory and he intended to change that for both of them. While he knew that the palace was going to need her, Lisa was more than likely going to end up working herself to death, and given that she’d been hurt, even if only minorly, she needed a break. So he’d written her to play sick for the day and come with him somewhere that he could help her relax and take her mind off of all the bad things going on in the current world around them. Dress for warmth and bring something if you want to swim. That was the direction he’d given her and ran with it. He couldn’t take her to do more extreme things, even healed he was sore and he imagined she was. But this was a mixture enough that it was fun without being dangerous - at least not too dangerous. “Are you ready to go, princess?” Cass asked as he approached Lisa where he’d told her to meet him. Seeing she was, he pulled her close and kissed her. Only when he released her did he apparate with her appearing at a dock at a resort in Bora Bora, French Polynesia. The sun was blinding and he pulled a pair of sunglasses out and down over his eyes before turning and handing her a pair. “I figured you could use a break and snorkeling sounded like a safe and fun bet. What do you say?” |
