WHO: Loki and Regan
WHERE: Mungo's
WHEN: After the Quidditch attacks
WHAT: Stuff.
RATING: Mentions of violence and injury. Incomplete.
The past few hours were a blur. One minute she was sitting in the stands with Regan and his family, watching the match that had barely started it seemed and the next things erupted into chaos. She heard the explosion before she felt it, though it seemed as soon as the seats she was seated on started to vibrate with the force of impending collapse things spun out of control immediately. She'd tried to get to her feet, but with everyone pushing and shoving in the panic and with the tower literally collapsing beneath her, it was a futile exercise. She was stumbling down the stairs when the step she was on caved in. She fell through, screaming as she felt the flesh of her leg rip open as she scrambled at the edge to try and hold on. Palms scraped and bleeding, she lost her grip, tumbling the rest of the way down. Despite having only small bruises and scrapes prior to the fall, Loki landed so hard she was instantly unconscious. Good thing, because the torn leg had been broken in the landing and it was twisted wrong. Worse than that was her ribs, broken and not helping the internal bleeding brought on by the heavy landing.
The concussion had been what knocked her out ultimately, and one of the things the healers were most concerned about when she was brought in. She was vaguely aware of people peering down at her as they tried to assess the severity for triage purposes. It was likely the concussion and her inability to really stay conscious that got her seen, though it had taken quite some time. She'd spent the time curled up on Regan, in and out, until she finally woke up in a room. Blinking, she tried to shift, wincing as pain lanced through her head and chest. She had no emergency contact, no family to speak of, so she didn't call out for anyone when her eyes opened. Hell, she had probably imagined curling up on Regan as she waited. Hopefully a healer would be in soon so she could try and figure out if the rest of the Edgecombes were alright.
