Ugh. She knew it. Maria had no idea what this was even about and now she'd shown up here with a cake and she was going to have to explain it, when the cake was supposed to do all the bloody talking for her. Ugh.
"No, I'm fine." Ginny said, following her to the kitchen, but lingering in the doorway a little awkwardly. The Potter home had always been welcoming, but it wasn't quite like the Burrow where anyone who walked in felt like they could just pull up a chair and be right at home. No where, Ginny was sure, was quite like the Burrow in that respect. "Look, I just wanted to make sure you weren't mad...or upset...or felt weird about everything. Cause..." Because she got that distinct impression, but that seemed rude to just say outloud. "I dunno. I overreacted about you and Ron and then Harry and I got engaged and I just..." She shrugged. This was not something she was good at. Even alluding to the fact that maybe, she might be wrong, was not easy for her.
