Ernie assured Hannah that it wouldn't kill her, but Hannah wasn't entirely sure about that because her desire for him seemed to over-ride any rational thought she had. All she could think about was feeling him, feeling every inch of him which definitely was not something she should even be thinking or fantasizing about while he was hovering over top of her in a bed.
He had no idea of what he did to her, or maybe he did. But it didn't matter at this moment because regardless of how badly Hannah wanted him to ravage her, it wasn't going to happen until he was ready and believed she was ready. Although her body believed it was more than ready, rationally, she did need to do what she needed to do to work on herself. Ernie was her best mate, and the last thing she needed was to screw up things with him worse than she already felt like she did.
He talked about how he would make her a promise. This piqued Hannah's interest enough for her to raise a brow in the darkness. "What kind of promise?" Once Ernie answered her question, Hannah remained quiet for a moment.
"I love you too, Ernie." Which she did, she really did, regardless of what he thought. "And when you show me, I may never get out of this bed ever again." Hannah laughed in the darkness. "And you may never get out of this bed ever again."
Hannah's laugh turned into a yawn. "We should probably get some sleep, tomorrow will be here before we both know it. But I have a request." It was a simple request to Hannah. "Kiss me goodnight and hold me until I fall asleep."
