It was weird, the way things turned out, wasn't it? Astoria would have never thought she'd be in the ocean in the middle of the night with Vincent Crabbe, holding onto him closely, the moonlight bathing over them, the water crashing against them. It was almost like a scene from one of those romance novels, only both of them were a lot more awkward about things.
Did Vince want to kiss her? Astoria got her answer when his head leaned down into hers, his lips pressing onto hers. Astoria's lips pressed back against his softly, her arms wrapped around his neck still to keep her afloat. It was a nice kiss, certainly an unexpected one, but still nice.
"Vince?" Astoria smiled against his lips as she spoke. "You don't have to kiss me like we're in school. We're both adults." And with that said, Astoria did something very uncharacteristic for herself, she deepened the kiss between Vince and her, her small tongue sliding past his lips and into his mouth.
