Ginny did not have regrets about getting engaged to Harry. She was feeling a little stupid about how distracting it was to glance down at her hand and see the ring he'd bought. It was beautiful, objectively speaking. Even to someone who didn't really wear much jewelry. It felt heavy on her hand and she was very aware of it and she was hoping that feeling would go away soon. But she didn't have any regrets about it.
Well. She did regret agreeing to that stupid joke. Because it had mucked everything up with how her family had found out and wasn't really all that funny considering there was a chance they'd have to invite that horrible woman to the ceremony or something. Ugh.
So she was going to serve her penance by going to the Burrow on her day off. Her mother needed to be apologized to and so she had gone to Diagon Alley on her way there and picked up the stupid bridal magazines from Flourish and Blotts even though she had no intention of letting herself get talked into anything. She knew her Mum would have fun looking through the photos and thinking up plans. Percy was right that she and her Mum had different tastes, but surely there were things they could agree on. Besides, Ginny didn't really care about the wedding. She was going to be happy to be married. The wedding was just a way to get to that.
When she arrived, she walked in through the kitchen door without bothering to knock. "Morning! Mum?"
