The week had mostly been shit and it was only Tuesday. A week away from actual practicing hadn't been exactly easy on her going back. Plus, Monday's distraction resulted in more than a couple bruises from bludgers that she was still mending. Not to mention the heartless wench that had torn her brother's heart to shreds was now someone she had to make nice with so she didn't end up thrown off the team.
She hadn't wanted to be the one to tell George that Alicia was back in town. Of course, him finding out from anyone else wasn't an option. She couldn't imagine what reading it in the Prophet or worse, running into her somewhere in London would do to him. And he'd certainly be upset when he found out that she knew and had kept it to herself. The journals were probably not the most tactful way to go about it, but she didn't see much other choice. At least it gave him a little space to process.
Still, she was glad he was coming over. It was probably better if he wasn't alone at the moment and she wasn't going to pressure him to talk about it or share his feelings or anything else. She'd just be there with food and booze and distractions. That's what little sisters were for, after all.
She'd gotten loads of junk food together and usually had a few bottles of beer in the fridge and an old bottle of firewhiskey she'd been given as a joke by her teammate. She felt well stocked for what she hoped would be a good evening of distraction with her brother.
