Who: Hugo and Cecilia Where: Greenhouses When: Monday, the 11th, after Hugo asked to talk to her. What: After being hit back in the face, Hugo feels like he finally needs to apologize for the way he acted. Rating: PG
Hugo paced in front of the entrance to the Greenhouses, occasionally glancing at the reflection of himself on the greenhouse walls. The bruise on his cheek and the black shadow on his left eye were still apparent on his face. Despite what he learned at WADA about stage make up, he wasn't particularly informed on how to hide real bruises. He attempted to search for glamor charms but it wasn't like he was good at charms in the first place. He asked Veronica, who supposedly is his girlfriend and all, if she had anything for bruises, but a part of him felt that she probably was ignoring him with the way he treated her the morning after Cecilia went off on him.
Maybe he did deserve getting hit. Maybe it's what exactly he needed. A wake up call for how he's acted lately. After all, it took exactly that for him to finally decide to set it straight in person with Cecilia.
It wasn't that he was ignoring her. In fact, he wanted to see her, especially with her obvious frustrations about him and Declan - well, at least, he hoped she was frustrated with him too. Declan was blaming him, after all. He was afraid that Cecilia would yet again fall for Declan's feigned innocence and believe that he was the suspect in this equation. It was why he was defending his pride, however frustrated he sounded when he retaliated to Cecilia. It was exactly why he tried not to talk to her in person in the first place. He knew that once he saw her - saw her face and the broken emotions that came with it - he knew he would throw out his sense of pride and give into her easily.
