Watching his nostrils flare, it suddenly clicked how she knew the man in front of her. She thought it would take a long time for her to meet him. She thought, being new to the game, he would have waited a long time to show himself to the new recruits.
But here he was, right in front of her. Angry. And it was her fault he was angry. Daphne set the holster on the counter and stood up slowly. She dropped her eyes to the floor and bowed her head.
"Forgive me, My Lord." Backing up to the shelves, Daphne went in search of Ollivander. She could only guess what was going to take place in the next few minutes, and she had no desire to be on the receiving end of Voldemort's wand.
Knocking on the door, Daphne tried to turn the handle, but finding it locked. Of course the old goat had the key with him. "Mr. Ollivander, there is a very important guest here to see you. And he refuses to have me assist him. He said you were the only one who could help him."
Hearing Ollivander grumble, she knew he was going to unlock the door and go to the front. And he did. As she followed him to the front, she quickly pulled out her wand and magic'ed the shutters closed. When they finally made it to the front, she felt rather than saw Ollivander freeze in his tracks.
She moved around the frozen man, and made her way to stand by the counter again. She didn't know what to do, so she concentrated on breathing evenly and looking a little bored even though she was terrified beyond belief. She knew after tonight, there would be no way she would sleep without Adrian near by her.
