"I just like to think positively about the future," he said with a grin. "And sometime in the future I wouldn't mind seeing you with less clothes on. After we've gotten to know each other a bit." It wasn't usual for him to mean it, but strangely he did. She was fascinating, not to mention beautiful, and he didn't mind taking it slowly for once.
He had to laugh at her comment about Danielle, knowing that was absolutely correct. "She does have that effect on people, doesn't she?" he commented fondly. "My aunt Regina was always a huge Quidditch fan, and since she and Uncle Tiberius raised me, I inherited it from her. Quidditch and horses, that was my Aunt Regina." He smiled, eyes distant for a moment as he remembered his aunt. He shook his head. "But I never got a chance to play at Hogwarts. Wood was Keeper until my 4th year, and then there was the Tournament. And after that, well, they gave the position to Weasley." He shrugged. "It worked out well though, because by the time I left Hogwarts and the whole Voldemort thing was done, I was still in good shape and found that the time off had only strengthened my abilities."
He grinned, and was proud of himself for keeping the bitterness at bay. Bitter wasn't the first impression he wanted to make. "I live in Scotland, actually, near Montrose. It's convenient actually, because that's where my team practices." He grinned. "I'm in London quite a bit though. I have a flat here as well. But most of my time is spent on the estate. My horses grow impatient if I'm gone too long."
