"Indeed," she replied, still torn between annoyance and amusement. "There'll be free food or a dinner but they'd best behave themselves. They do know how to behave in civilized company, I hope?" she asked, wondering how she'd somehow managed to have an entire team of Quidditch players invite themselves to a gala that could or couldn't be happening in the future.
"I've got an incredible cruel streak, ask the Hufflepuffs in our year," she said with a smug smirk. "Who's to say that I'll care if you're too useless for anything more fun? I've already told you I'm not after your heart or a signed photo."
She took the bag from him and looked at him disapprovingly. "You mean it's not apologising for the fact that we had to meet?" she asked, smiling slightly. "Next you'll be suggesting a dirty weekend away. Every time you talk about making amends you add another clause."
