Draco nodded, somewhat pleased that the Minister wasn't going to internalize the entire affair. That would have simply been asking for trouble. Especially if the only the Aurors or the Department of Magical Law Enforcement. All like-minded individuals dealing with a delicate problem, that frankly, required a Slytherin's touch.
Draco nodded in agreement with Kingsley's reasoning. They needed to get a handle on things quickly. The public was clamoring for vengeance or retribution or justice. But Draco didn't feel that simply kissing Voldemort was going to solve the problem.
It was spreading. There had been sightings of other's who were, by Ministry records, dead. Or at least they should have been.
Draco's brow rose, as he bit back a sarcastic comment. Well why else would he have come? To have tea? But but his attitude would not be appreciated, nor would it be conducive to achieving the means to his end.
"Well I have no doubt that you have capable fighters, and trained investigators," Draco began slowly loathing to have to do this. But this was his trump card. His one advantage over everyone else. Draco hated that everything he had been doing for the last 5 years to distance himself from it would be for naught.
His left hand clenched.
"However I bear his Mark. There is the possibility that he will trust me for it," Draco said finally. "A furthermore, there is the possibility that other Death Eaters will return as well. I can proved an advantage. An otherwise unthinkable edge."
