Kingsley almost wished he'd kept his official statement to himself - the amount of owls and howlers he'd received since the Prophets initial reports of Voldemort's return had only doubled since he'd confirmed the rumors. It was tempting to just hand Voldemort over to the dementors and be done with it, but he needed his questions answered. He needed to know that this wasn't something that was going to happen again. And they still hadn't been able to get anything out of the man.
He sighed when his assistant announced Draco Malfoy, he couldn't think of any reason the boy would come to see him. But as it was, it provided a break from the tedium of answering letters for at least a few minutes. And that was an opportunity too golden to pass up.
"Send him in please, Anna." Kingsley reminded himself to get her something for putting her through all this mess recently.
"Mr. Malfoy." He greeted the young man as he came into the office with a nod of his head. "How can I help you today?" He wanted to get his reason for coming out in the open from the start. The sooner Kingsley knew what it was Draco was after the sooner he could decide what to do about it.
