"I wouldn't say I like being in another form more, but I do enjoy being around animals. Shifting takes a lot of focus, and it's not impossible to completely lose that sometimes. There is always the chance that you'll end up exposing yourself accidentally." Sleeping in animal form, while possible, wasn't anything advisable. Whenever the mind rested, that concentration it took to hold the animal shape lifted, and once you woke again, you would be returned to looking like a human. This wasn't the only time it happened, but it was the most common. "Just being around them, it gives you more time to study them. Imprinting really only gives you the physical look, and you can still make fumbles in the form." IT was never the brightest idea to shift into something, and then continue to behave human. That was undoubtedly the quickest way to draw attention to yourself. Ian smiled, "Thanks, I may just take the both of you up on that offer." An offer that couldn't have been more tempting, allowing him the chance to play with Charlie more, and spend time with Eden. A killer combination, he certainly thought. Resisting a puppy was impossible, but nothing compared to resisting the draw of a beautiful woman. "I think people who thrive on it, need it. It's got something to do with their ego," Though he wasn't sure just what that was. Maybe the attention it brought them. The crazier things were, the more they could complain about them to other people.
Slowly, he nodded his head, "Yeah, that's the part that really... sucks. I heal some what faster, but nothing like weres, or demons." It was closer pace to that of a human. "Have you ever witnessed an actual transformation? That will bloody give you nightmares, no joke." After he, and his ex had began dating, they both became animals on the full moon, in much different fashions. Ian shifted first, and stood by to watch Sophie, to make sure she didn't get into any trouble, or hurt anyone. That first full moon with her had been burned into his memory, it wasn't something he would ever forget. "I literally had nightmares about it, for months." Ian decided against going into detail, it was pretty damn horrific. Again his shoulders lightly shook with laughter, the smoke spluttering out from between his lips ungracefully. "I was. Very ornery. I come by it naturally though, my father is the same way." The old man still had a streak a mile wide in him. It drove his wife damn near up a wall at times. It was sometimes easy to get sucked into a kiss, more so when it was familiar. First kisses were always a bit timid, more so about testing the water. The hadn't persisted long, and she was urging him to deepen the kiss, and so he did, the hand under her chin sliding back to cradle her head.
