“You’ve been to London, then?” Eden had always been fond of her hometown, it had always held a soft spot in her heart. She wasn’t one of those folks that would never leave – no, she already had – but she wasn’t against going back one day. She just wanted a bit of adventure first. “I’ve never even really asked what it is they do; Vivian isn’t really the type that appreciates people going around being nosy. I’m sure its something very important and all that, but it doesn’t really concern me. Jaida keeps me plenty busy without having to worry about whatever Visigoth is up to.” And, honestly, she didn’t really care. Whatever Vivian’s company did had never directly affected her – other than attending whatever galas were being held at the mansion in the corporations name, Eden had never had anything more to do with the place. “It’s really rather strange to watch. It doesn’t seem like Jaida has to really do much of anything to inspire them, she just sort of….does.” It was hard to describe, more the type of thing you had to see to believe. “Jaida keeps a whole database of people she’s worked with, projects she’s done. You should see some of the thing she’s been a part of…” It was truly incredible, some of the thing she could claim to have had a part in. “She’s been doing more work with artists lately, there’s a sculptor that’s been booking almost weekly sessions and an author from Holland that moved here to work with her. If you ever meet her, you’ll understand.” It was hard not to be drawn in by the tiny muse.
Dom’s pack were some of the most loyal people Eden had ever met, she’d never doubted her safety for a moment when they were around. The idea that one of them would be outside monitoring her flat flooded her with a bit of relief. “Really? I suppose that makes a weird kind of sense, but…well plenty of races don’t think much of elementals,” she shrugged lightly – vampires, demons, weres, the ‘powerful’ races all needed someone to look down on. “So…what kind of were is your ex?” Eden was a bit curious, she wouldn’t lie. “Juniper is a were-bobcat, but spending time around her and the wolves at the mansion has been quite a learning experience.” They might have both been weres, but they had little in common beyond that. “She’s lovely, really, and she always means well. Jun just lacks that particular filter that keeps the things in her brain from slipping out of her lips.” If the redhead didn’t like you, it wouldn’t take you long to find out – she wasn’t one to mince words. Eden loved her for it, she really did, had found it especially comforting after the mess with Shannon. “No, he wasn’t. He was a seer, but he was human.” And the turning had become a giant fucking mess for everyone involved. “It…didn’t end well,” she admitted. Now wasn’t the time to get into detail, maybe someday when they knew one another better, but not now. Things were going too good to fixate on Shannon right now; she was having a wonderful time, they were already planning their next few dates together and she was genuinely having fun. “Oh no, I don’t think I could go on my own. I can’t imagine wanting to see all that beauty on my own, you’ve got to share it with someone.” That sort of experience had to mean so much more when there was a person you card about beside you. “Aw, but pugs are adorable. A bit alien looking, but they’re cute little things,” Eden grinned, raising her wine glass to her lips. “I’ll keep that in mind next time Charlie and I pay the park a visit.” She stood, moving to clean the dishes once they were finished, setting them in the sink to be washed later.
