"London is a good city, no real reason to leave. It has everything." London offered pretty much anything you could ever need, outside of the need to connect to nature, lush gardens wouldn't always do the trick. It was still too populated for his taste, but he had enjoyed visiting in the past, and wouldn't mind going again some day. That was if things didn't go to absolute shit, and leave all of them with no real place to find sanctuary. They shared something else in common, rooted parents. His folks might not have ended up in the same hometown, but they had lived in one place his entire life, plus a good ten years, and didn't show any signs of packing up, and heading off. It would likely take a torch wielding mob dragging them from the area, for them to really even consider moving. They loved their home too much, had everything that they wanted, and the view they had always dreamed of. "Corporations always take things seriously. Regulations out the ass, and everything else." There had been a few things he had learned about big business, since coming to work for the hospital, and that was that they didn't take kindly to slacking off, and not following all the guide lines in place. No matter what the situation was. "That sounds mad, in a good way mad. So she doesn't have to speak to them, she just gives off inspiration." That could be applied to more than just the creative field, right? It seemed possible, but it might be like it was with the other races, that there was a type of muse for different things. "Has she helped work on any big albums, or anything like that? I might be a fan of hers, and not even know it." He was going to have to remember her name, Jaida, and look through some of his albums for any mention of her. That could be considered a producers credit, or so he thought.
Older vampires seemed to enjoy keeping weres around for muscle, as he understood it, it was a dying tradition. It was pretty damn smart though, once you had a weres trust, they could be fiercely loyal to you. "I've been called a copycat, by more than one. Even my ex when she found out what I was, she didn't like me at first... she called me all sorts of names." Mostly he had thought she did so, because he caught her, found out what she was, before she had wanted him to know. Not that she had given him much mind before that full moon, but after was quite a different story. "Thanks, yeah..." He chuckled, "I wouldn't want to be chased off the property by a wolf." It might put a damper on their dating prospects as well. "Oh I don't mind weres, so long as they don't give me trouble. It's demons that make my skin crawl." He wanted to clear that up before he went about offending her. "A big mouth were? Shocking." He almost wanted to ask for a description, and a name. Wouldn't that be awkward, if she actually new his ex, and was friendly with her? No, he wasn't sure how he would handle that situation. Thankfully, she reminded him that this friend was employed with the vampire, and Sophie wouldn't ever consider it. "He wasn't a vampire when you began dating? That's... odd, usually you never know the person before they've turned." Ian couldn't see how that hadn't been a messy situation for her. "Quiet every where, isn't it?" Even the night clubs had began to slow some, not that he had frequently gone, but he had friends that were opting to stay home, rather than party it up on the weekends. "I will, I'll look at my work schedule tomorrow, and let you know." He wasn't about shuffling things around a bit either. "It's breath taking. It's one of the few countries that has managed to stay wild. You should go, but not alone. Always go with a guide." It wasn't safe for anyone to go alone, especially not a woman. "Actually, it's the ugly dogs that get the most attention. I shift into a pug, and they go bananas. But, I like running around with the dogs as well." Really, he couldn't not laugh at himself, it all sounded so ridiculous, but it was true. "I don't know about that, and I haven't had a pup to go with." His eyes darted under the table to Charlie. "So, if you have a pug come up to you next time, you'll know who it is."
