"I always heard that Los Angeles was like that, but not as open. Everyone knew about it, but they just didn't talk about it, that sort of thing." America had always been a great deal more prudish when it came to the taboo side of things, so, he never expected them to do anything more than half assed, which included accepting their kind. "Canada... I can't remember the same of the city, but they are supposed to have a really open community." Canada wasn't where he wanted to eventually end up though, Amsterdam was cold enough for his liking, and he couldn't imagine living in place that not only became buried in snow whenever the winter months hit, but was surrounded by miles, and miles of mountainous region. At least in Europe, there wasn't quite as much distance in separation. Or so it had always seemed to him. "They live on a farm, so they aren't in the mix of the bigger cities. Dad did mention that there hasn't really been much of an effect there." Australia was a longs way of some every where else, that could have something to do with it, or, people just weren't bothering themselves to hunt out people like them. "Probably, but I sincerely hope not." If they were lucky, there would be some places that remained untouched by supernaturals outings. "I think normal would be a nice change, don't you?" Normal was something that they could all do with at the moment. "Your on my way," He told her, shifting his helmet down into place, before he drove them off the black top round about at the entrance of the hospital. It almost felt as though nothing had happened just a short time before, here he was, posted at the very same light he had been, when he witnessed the group of men dragging Eden, and Sophia off. Ian couldn't help but to watch the spot for a moment, looking away only when the light turned green, and Eden tightened her grip at his sides. It was quite a comfortable feeling, like she belonged there. It was no more than ten minutes later, when they were pulling up into the driveway of her home. Placing his feet on the ground, he lowered the kickstand, before turning off the engine. "Here you are, Ms. Eden... actually, I don't think we exchanged surnames. Mine's Morris."
"She was like my first real adult girlfriend." Juniper didn't always fit well with people, something about her attitude, and lack of restraint seemed to turn them off, so, she had a difficult time creating close bonds with other women. That hadn't been an issue with she, and Eden. "I'll be happy to let her vent. Lord knows I need to vent about my ex." With a slight grin, she gave him a little wink of teasing. No, she didn't see the need to vent about anything that had happened between she, and Cal. If anything, she wanted to go a bit of confessing, and it would be really nice to have someone to listen, who had been there to witness things between them. Hopefully she would be able to provide the same for she, and the situation with Shannon. Honestly, she was a bit surprised that he had agreed to stay. If anything, she had been expecting one of those gentle smiles, a light shake of his head, and some excuse about how Vivian would have his bollocks if he didn't turn back up. Reaching up, she tucked her hair behind her ears, before climbing off the bench seat yet again. This time, she took his empty plate in hand, before walking over to the sink, and rinsing it off under the tap. There was no telling if they would ever come to a point like this again, where they could be open, civil, and intimate in a way. Cal was heading down a rocky path, and he knew it was one that Juniper wasn't going to follow, he likely didn't want her to follow. So, if you were given this one chance, wouldn't it be foolish not to take it? Taking his hand in her own, she pulled him up from his seat, switching off the kitchen light, as she lead them out down the hall, and to her bedroom. The only light was that of the moon, streaming in through the exposed windows. Facing him, she reached around behind his neck, and undid his scarf, tucking it into the pocket of jeans. It was then his vests turn, once off, she tossed it on top of the trunk at the end of her bed. For a moment, she thought about lifting up his shirt as well, instead, she smiled to herself, and began walking backwards.
