"Mom had her good points, but they were few, and far between." Very few, and very far between. At least they had been passed down to Victoria, someone who would use her skills for good, rather than... well, could be sewing used for the bad? She didn't know, she didn't even want to guess, but it was better that someone like her sister was capable of doing those sorts of things. "You have an eye for art, so I wouldn't doubt it. Can you do the like... stitching? No not stitching, where you make the picture with the thread?" Embroidery, it seemed almost like a lost art now, but you saw vintage clothing with that sort of stuff on it all the time, and it was pretty charming. "I love having an artistic sister, I get to reap the benefits of it." Jun smiled, she was proud of what her sister had done, and what she was capable of now. So many people turned towards a destructive path, rather than a creative one. "It might be a little awkward at first, but meeting new people usually is, but in the end, it'll all be great. We are going to be family, all of us." Jun was hoping that things would go better for Cal, and her sister, than she had for she, and Shannon.
"I need to be a stand up comedian, don't I?" Those closest to her would probably prefer she pointed that joking nature of hers onto someone else for a while. Couldn't you just see her up on stage, picking on various members of an audience some where? Jun was curious about the flowers, who wouldn't be, and she had a pretty good idea just what he had up his sleeve. It was sweet, a really kind gesture, and she knew that Victoria would be tickled by it, all the same, she wasn't going to pry, she would let him present everything in his own time, and not rush him to do so. "I started putting color on the walls, because I was bored, waiting on everyone to get here. See, this is what happens when you keep me waiting. I'm actually constructive now, I don't just whine about it, and then pout when you finally show the fuck up." Alright, so she hadn't really been time demanding before, if anything, it was usually she who was running late, with everyone calling, saying that she needed to hurry along already. Glancing back over her shoulder, she smiled to her sister, happy to see that she hadn't hesitated to follow along, and meet the man who was causing her so much anxiety. "I do... Callum McConal, I'd very much like you to meet my amazing baby sister, Victoria James. Victoria, this is the vampire half responsible for your nephews genes. Or you know, the man I love. Cal." Her hand passed between the two of them, making the proper, but strange introduction.
"I think we always looked the most alike. We have the same eyes. She's so pretty though. She was like the cutest little kid ever, she just had these huge blue eyes, and this curly blond hair, and now she's just beautiful." There were other qualities there, ones that maybe weren't so easy to pinpoint. They both had the ethereal look about them. "I haven't yet had the chance to crack the whip, because she just got home, and she's dressed too cute still. You on the other hand, I'll put you to work. Pay back for knocking me up. Manual labor, honey. He deserves it, don't you think, Vic? It's only fair, right?" Grinning, she gave her sister a little wink, before planting a kiss to Callum's cheek. "In all seriousness, if either of you would like to help me paint, I'd appreciate it, and I even bought little mask, since some of us have sensitive noses."
